While in Puros, Namibia on our FirstLight Botswana/Namibia Photo Expedition, we had the privilege in photographing the Himba people in their nearby village of Okongombesemba. Here, a Himba woman, Mavekamburiuapi, grinds clay into âOtjizeâ, a paste used by Himba women as a skin moisturizer, skin cleaner, and works as an insect repellent.
